In 2021 a 50-room dormitory for backstretch workers that care for the horses on the grounds was added, and in 2022 they constructed a winterized barn with 105 stalls will be ready for horses in March. Horseshoe Indianapolis began a significant enhancement and expansion to the property in April 2021, bringing nearly 25,000 square feet of new gaming space, including a live World Series of Poker Room with 20 tables. There are 2,300 slot machines and a poker room and was rebuilt at a cost of in excess of $250million.
